Introduction To Precautions For Using Argon Gas
Dec 14, 2022
1. Argon gas should be stored in a ventilated, dry, and cool warehouse, away from heat sources and fire sources, and avoid direct sunlight, and the argon gas cylinder should have anti-falling measures.
2. The gas in the argon bottle is a high-pressure filling gas, and it should be decompressed and decompressed before use.
3. Argon gas has a service life, and it is best to use it within the service life. The argon gas that is about to expire must be sent to the relevant department for safety inspection, and can only be used after passing the test.
4. When argon gas is used to exhaust gas, the residual pressure in the bottle should be kept at 0.5MPa, and the minimum residual pressure should not be lower than 0.25MPa, and the bottle valve should be closed to ensure gas quality and use safety.
5. When argon is stored, transported and used, it should be placed in categories. Combustible gases and combustion-supporting gases should not be placed together, and leakage emergency treatment equipment should also be equipped.
6. When using argon gas, do not use fire, grease, sun exposure, re-throwing, or impact.
7. During the storage and transportation of argon gas, it should be lightly loaded and unloaded to prevent collisions and excessive temperature. It is best to install safety caps and shockproof rubber rings on the argon gas cylinders.
8. If argon operation is required, protective equipment such as air respirators and oxygen masks must be worn.
9. If there is a danger of argon gas leakage, quickly evacuate the leaked contaminated area, wear a respirator or antifreeze protective gear, and if the situation permits, move the leaked gas cylinder to an open and safe place.
