Types of Industrial Gas
High Purity Argon Gas
Argon is a rare gas widely used in industry. It is very inert in nature and can neither burn nor support combustion.
Carbon Dioxide Gas
Production method (industrial method): it is extracted and recovered from the feed gas, fermentation gas, lime kiln gas and flue gas during the production of synthetic ammonia and hydrogen. The purity shall not be less than 99.5% (volume).
High Purity Nitrogen Gas
Nitrogen, a simple substance formed by nitrogen element, has the chemical formula N ∈. It is a colorless and tasteless inert gas under normal temperature and pressure.
Mixed Refrigerant Gas
Mixed gas refers to the gas containing two or more effective components, or the content of non effective components exceeds the specified limit.
Dry Ice
It is widely used in stage, theater, film and television, wedding, celebration, party, etc. to produce cloud sea effect.
High Purity Hydrogen Gas
Colorless, tasteless, odorless, non-toxic flammable gas. The melting point is - 259.2 ℃, and the boiling point is - 252 77 ℃, relative density (O ℃, air=1) 0 06960. Gas density 0.08342kg. 111-3 (21.1 ℃, 101 3kPa); Liquid density 70. 96kg. n-3 (- 252.8 ℃, 101 3kPa).
High Purity Oxygen Gas
Oxygen is a simple substance formed by oxygen element. Its chemical formula is O2. Its chemical property is relatively active, and it can react with oxygen with most elements.
High Purity Neon Gas
Neon is a colorless, odorless, non-toxic rare gas. It is gaseous at room temperature and pressure. High-purity neon is highly stable, chemically inactive, and not easy to react with other substances.

The Production Process of Industrial Gas
Raw Materials
Industrial gases are typically produced from various raw materials, depending on the type of gas and its intended use. Familiar sources of raw materials include air, water, natural gas, petroleum, and coal. Some gases are also created through chemical synthesis.
Processing
The raw materials are then processed to create the desired gas. This process can involve simple filtration, distillation, cryogenic separation, or more complex chemical reactions. This process purifies the gas and separates it from other gases and impurities.
Compression
After the gas is processed, it is typically compressed and stored in tanks or cylinders. This is done to make it easier to transport and store the gas.
Packaging
The compressed gas is then packaged in various containers, depending on the gas and its intended use. These containers can range from small canisters for consumer use to large tanks for industrial applications.
Distribution
The packaged gas is then transported to its destination, either to a manufacturing facility or to a retail outlet.
Applications of Industrial Gas
Manufacturing
Industrial gases are used in a variety of manufacturing processes. One of their primary uses is welding, where a gas creates an oxygen-free environment for welding. Other uses include providing a protective atmosphere for heat treating, plasma cutting, and soldering.
Industrial gases also help to purify and refine materials, such as in the production of aluminum, steel, and other metals.
Power Generation
Industrial gases are also used to generate power. Natural gas, for example, is often used in power plants to generate electricity. Industrial gases are also used in gas turbines and fuel cells, which are used to produce electricity.
Refrigeration and Air Conditioning
Industrial gases are also used in the refrigeration and air conditioning industry. The most common industrial gases used in this industry are fluorocarbons and hydrochlorofluorocarbons.
These gases are used to create a cooling effect on air, which helps to reduce the temperature of a room. They are also used in air conditioning systems to remove moisture from the air.
Medical Applications
Industrial gases are also used in medical applications. Oxygen, for example, is commonly used to help patients who are suffering from respiratory problems. Helium is often used in the medical field to help treat certain conditions, such as asthma.
Industrial gases are also used to assist in the production of pharmaceuticals and in the sterilization of medical equipment.
Food Processing
Industrial gases are also used in food processing. Carbon dioxide, for example, is often used to help preserve food and to increase shelf life.
Nitrogen is used to help prevent oxidation in food, which can cause spoilage. Industrial gases also help create foam on top of the beer and other beverages.
Fire Suppression
Industrial gases are also used in fire suppression. Carbon dioxide and nitrogen are often used to help extinguish fires, as they are both non-flammable. Nitrogen is also used to help reduce the risk of explosions, as it is an inert gas.
Uses in Other Industries
Industrial gases are also used in a variety of other industries. They are used to help with the production of glass, to create a protective atmosphere in semiconductor manufacturing, and to help produce chemicals.
1. Unload cylinders immediately after receiving them and transport them in a well-ventilated vehicle. Be sure to read the safety data sheet for each particular gas to familiarize yourself with the properties and hazards of that gas.
2. Secure the cylinders with straps and chokes while transporting cylinders to prevent them from rolling, be sure that the valve cannot be opened.
3. LPG (propane) and liquefied gas cylinders should always be transported upright, and acetylene cylinders should be kept upright for at least 30 minutes before use if they need to be transported lying down.
4. It is required to receive training to get familiar with how to handle gas in an emergency and on a day-to-day basis. Please speak to a supervisor if enough training hasn't been done or a refresher is needed.
5. It's important to store cylinders upright as a proper storage method in a well-ventilated area away from heat. It keeps them in good condition. 6. Empty and full cylinders should be stored separately and rotated so that the oldest ones are used first. No flammable material should not be brought into your cylinder store.

6. If you can't identify a cylinder's contents by its label, don't rely on the cylinder color for identification. If there are missing or unreadable labels, don't use the cylinder. Be especially cautious of cylinders that look damaged, overheated, or discolored, and contact the supplier right away.
7. Wearing the necessary safety gear, which includes a hard hat, safety glasses, high visibility clothing, protective gloves, and safety shoes or boots, is key when working with or in close proximity to cylinders. Cylinders should always be stored in a safe and secure location, and signage should be installed at all storage facilities warning about safety precautions and emergency procedures.
8. Never try to catch a falling cylinder - let it fall and move out of the way. Hold onto the collar or neck of the cylinder tightly with both hands when lifting; the cylinders shouldn't be lifted by the valve handwheel or cylinder valve.
9. Use a forklift truck or cylinder trolley to move cylinders safely and efficiently.
