Safe operation and storage (of utmost importance!) :
Asphyxiation risk: Major danger! Argon gas itself is non-toxic, but at high concentrations it will quickly displace the air, causing oxygen deficiency and asphyxiation.
Be sure to use it in an area with good ventilation.
It is strictly prohibited to enter enclosed spaces (such as storage tanks, pipelines, pits, etc.) where argon gas may accumulate. Before entering, the oxygen content (O2 > 19.5%) must be tested.
Install oxygen concentration alarm devices in the working area.
Pressure risk: High-pressure cylinders possess potential energy.
The gas cylinder must be upright and securely fixed to prevent any impact or fall.
Use a qualified pressure reducing valve and slowly open the valve.
