What Are The Precautions For Using Oxygen?

(1) Oxygen cylinders should be stored separately from other flammable gas cylinders, grease and flammable and explosive items.
(2) When storing high-pressure oxygen cylinders, the bottle caps should be tightened, placed neatly, with passages left, and fixed.
(3) The oxygen cylinder warehouse should be kept at least 10m away from places with high temperature and open flames.
(4) The oxygen cylinder should be placed upright and fixed during transportation, and its height should not exceed the side of the carriage.
(5) It is strictly forbidden to use bicycles, forklifts or lifting equipment to transport high-pressure cylinders.
(6) Oxygen cylinders should be equipped with shockproof rings and safety helmets. Hitting is strictly prohibited during handling and use.
(7) The valve of the oxygen cylinder must not be stuck with grease or dust. Do not touch the oxygen cylinder valve with greased tools, gloves or overalls.
(8) Oxygen cylinders should not be exposed to strong sunlight, and sunscreens and sheds should be set up when working in the open air in summer.
(9) The distance between the oxygen cylinder and the welding torch, cutting torch, furnace and other open flames should not be less than 10m, and the distance between the oxygen cylinder and the acetylene cylinder should not be less than 5m.
